NBB Group Holds Annual General Meeting

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Group held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 22nd March 2023, at Downtown Rotana, in the presence of NBB Board of Directors, NBB Group’s executive management team, shareholders, and representatives from the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC) and Bahrain Bourse.

During the meeting, Mr. Farouk Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed, Chairman of NBB, welcomed all attendees and shared key highlights of the Group’s strong financial results and robust performance across all business operations. Mr. Almoayyed also touched on the Group’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation, ESG and innovation, as central drivers to enhancing brand positioning and value proposition.

The Chairman concluded by reiterating the Group’s ongoing efforts to developing the Kingdom’s banking sector through continuous expansion of its business portfolio while contributing to economic growth and the Economic Vision 2030.
