Manama – 13 October 2018:  National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) today announced two lucky Grand Prize winners of its flagship “AlWatani Savings Scheme” for the month of September 2018. The winners, Ahmed Ali Mohamed Diab and Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed Jassim, who won US$200,000 and US$100,000 respectively, were invited to a special celebration at the Avenues Mall where they were notified of the amount of their prizes and awarded by NBB team members in a festive atmosphere. Other NBB customers and members of the public also joined in to celebrate with the winners at the NBB Avenues Mall stand, where Bank staff provided a number of exciting family activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Gravity Indoor Skydiving (Gravity) announced that National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), Bahrain’s leading and first locally owned bank, as the golden sponsor one of the 3rd FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving.   Organized by Gravity in collaboration with the Bahrain Air Sports Federation, the event will be hosted at the Kingdom of Bahrain on October 25 – 28 and will gather top tier flyers from around the world to compete in several disciplines. 

NBB has made a donation to Migrant Workers Protection Society as part of its support of its humanitarian efforts to help expatriate workers in Bahrain to achieve their basic human rights in accordance with internationally recognized standards. NBB has been supporting all activities that aim to achieve substantial social benefits for all segments of the public, including non-Bahraini workers that lack awareness of their civil rights in the country.
