The National Bank of Bahrain has announced the launch of its 53rd Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) in the Kingdom of Bahrain near the Bahrain Defense Force's Military Hospital, in the area adjacent to the Military Consumer Shop. The new ATM is a drive-through type ATM which allows customers to conveniently withdraw cash without getting out of their cars.
NBB’s Executive Assistant General Manager, Marketing & Sales Group, Mr. Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ahmed said, “It has always been the Bank’s aim to provide superior customer service at all times. The launch of the new drive-through ATM is in line with the Bank’s strategy of enhancing distribution of ATMs in prime locations, allowing it to service areas of high population density and provide easy access. The Bank’s focus is to service customer needs and make convenient banking services available for customers in all parts of the Kingdom. These services are provided through NBB’s ATMs and branch network in all areas of Bahrain, which is the largest network in the Kingdom. In addition to installing ATMs at new locations, the Bank is also upgrading its branches and equipping them with state-of-the-art technologies to facilitate transactions for customers and minimize waiting time.” “We recognize the competitive environment in which we operate, and are determined to exceed our customers’ expectations” he added.
With this new ATM, NBB has now increased its network to 53 ATMs in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Customers can use their debit cards to withdraw cash from more locations as well as pay for their purchases at increasing number of NBB Point-of-Sale terminals at various shops and establishments. NBB’s ATMs are connected to the BENEFIT (Bahraini Electronic Network for Financial Transactions) network, enabling customers of other participating banks in the country to withdraw cash from all NBB ATMs.
