National Bank of Bahrain has donated BD 5,000 to the Child Care Home as part of its ongoing contributions and donations programme for the year 2009.

At a meeting held in the Bank, Executive Assistant General Manager, Corporate Services Group, Mr. Khalid Ali Juma presented the cheque to the President of the Child Care Home, Dr. Akbar Mohsen, who expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Bank’s Board of Directors and NBB CEO & Director Mr. Abdul Razak Abdulla Hassan Al Qassim for the generous support, which contributes to enhancing the services provided to the children in the local society.

For his part, Mr. Khalid Ali Juma said "We, at NBB, have always placed a great importance on our contribution to the society. We consider it our moral obligation to contribute to all those humanitarian societies who are constantly working for the betterment of our community. It is a privilege to be associated with such humanitarian organizations who are tireless in their efforts to improve our Kingdom."

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Nasser Mohamed Nasser, Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Bank.
