In line with its belief that saving is a national duty, NBB has relaunched its alWatani Saving scheme with attractive prizes to encourage saving habits among its customers.

The Bank announced the list of Alwatani Savings Scheme winners for August 2009 during a monthly draw held at the Bank premises in Manama. Ms. Huda Sultan Sultan Fakhro won the first prize of US $ 25,000 and Mr. Hassan Ahmed Mohamed Al Qayam won the second prize of US $ 10,000. There were 4 winners of the third prize comprising of US $ 5,000 each. They were Ms. Najat A. Rahman Nasser Al Dosary, Ms. Madina Yousif Mohamed Marhoon, Ms. Noora Mubarak Muftah Jawhar, and Mr. Hassan Ali Jawad Al Qarooni, receiving US $ 5,000 each.
 
NBB’s Al Watani Savings program offers excellent rewards to customers who save with the Bank. This program offers NBB’s Savings customers an opportunity to win US$ 555,555.55 in the MEGA prize draw, which will be held in January 2010. 

Customers who maintain an average monthly balance of BD 50 and above are eligible to participate in the monthly draws. Customers with an average monthly balance above BD 500 are eligible to participate in the monthly as well as the Grand draw of two prizes for US $ 100,000 and US $ 50,000 which will be held in October 2009. Customers with an average monthly balance above BD 1,000 are eligible to participate in all the prizes offered by the Bank including the MEGA prize.

Every BD 50 entitles the customer for a chance to participate in the draw. The more the savings, the higher are the number of chances to win prizes.
