National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) donated BD 5,000 to the Children and Mothers Welfare Society as part of its contributions and donations programme for the year 2009.The donation was presented by Mr. Hussain Al Hussaini, Executive Assistant General Manager, Treasury & Investment Group at NBB, during a meeting with Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa, the President of the Children & Mothers Welfare Society held at his office.

 Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Bank’s Chairman Mr. Abdulla Ali Kanoo and Mr. Abdul Razak Abdulla Hassan Al Qassim, the Chief Executive Officer & Director for their financial support. The support received from NBB helps tremendously in carrying out the programmes and activities undertaken by the Children & Mothers Welfare Society, and consequently contributes to the  fulfillment of the Society’s mission in serving the community.

Mr. Hussain Al Hussaini said "We, at NBB, have always placed great importance on the contribution to our society. As a responsible corporate citizen of this Kingdom, we consider it our moral obligation to contribute to all those humanitarian societies who are constantly working for the betterment of our society. The cheque presentation ceremony was attended by Shaikha Aysha Bint Salman Al Khalifa, Treasurer and President of Planning & Development Committee of the Children & Mothers Welfare Society, and Mr. Nasser Mohammed Nasser, Secretary to NBB's Board of Directors.
