NBB’s CEO Mr. Abdul Razak Abdulla Hassan Al Qassim presented a highly equipped, technically advanced bus, worth BD 25,000 to Mr. Mohammed Abdulla Al Zamil, Chairman of Muharraq Welfare Centre. This advanced vehicle will be used as part of the mobile unit project undertaken by the Centre. This would not only benefit the members of the Centre but would go a long way in reaching out to the less privileged sections of the community.

Mr. Al Zamil thanked NBB and its Board of Director’s for this generous contribution. He said that NBB has always been a very generous supported of the Centre and this has helped the Centre in fulfilling its mission of serving a large cross section of the society.
 
Mr. Abdul Razak A. Hassan Al Qassim (CEO of NBB) said, “We are aware of the responsibilities that lie with the Muharraq Welfare Centre and the exemplary work they have been doing over the years. At NBB, we have always been at the forefront of any project or cause, which caters to a better community especially when it comes to helping the underprivileged sections of our society. We remain committed in our efforts and we will continue to work towards a better Bahraini society.”

This donation came as a part of NBB's donations and contributions programme, which was initiated in 1980, and aims to provide support and assistance to all those institutions which are engaged in improving the community.
