National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) received a special award from JPMorgan Chase Bank for the excellent performance of its operations. The award was given to NBB in recognition of the consistent high quality performance and standards of fund transfer operation management.
JPMorgan Chase’s Quality Recognition Award is presented annually to those clients of JPMorgan who achieve a best-in-class level of operating excellence. Less than 1% of JPMorgan Chase Bank funds transfer clients were able to meet the criteria to qualify for this award. National Bank of Bahrain is the first bank in Bahrain to win the award for a record 10th consecutive year and one of the very few banks worldwide that has achieved such a consistent level of operating excellence over so many years. Such high level of performance and accuracy in processing funds transfer indeed results in timely payment to beneficiaries and customers. Needless to mention that this adds value to the quality of services provided to our customer.
Representatives of JPMorgan Chase Bank, Mr. Ali Moosa, Managing Director, Head of Financial Institutions, Mena region, honoured NBB with the JPMorgan Chase 2009-2010 Quality Recognition Award at a presentation to NBB management in the new NBB Tower.
Accepting the award on behalf of NBB was Mr. Jassim Mohamed Al Hammadi, Assistant General Manager, Central Operations thanked JPMorgan Chase for presenting the award to NBB and said that it was a great honour for NBB to be recognised for the high quality of its operations performance and standards by one of the major globally recognized international financial institution. The presentation ceremony were attended by Mrs. Fatima Ateeq, Assistant Manager, Money Transfer Foreign Currency Unit and staff member.
Mr. Ali Moosa congratulated NBB for maintaining a consistently high level of error-free operations. “It is truly a privilege to work with NBB who has clearly demonstrated a long-term commitment to quality,” he said.
