National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has made a donation of BD 15,000 to HR Development Fund as part of its donations and contributions programme. During a meeting held at his office, Mr. Abdul Rahman Abdulla Mohamed, General Manager- Banking Group at NBB presented the cheque to Mr. Murad Ali Murad, the Fund’s Board of Trustees President. This contribution received from NBB will enable the Fund to carry out its duties.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Abdul Rahman said that under the directives of NBB Chairman Mr. Abdulla Ali Kanoo and NBB CEO & Director Mr. Abdul Razak Abdulla Hassan Al Qassim, the Bank has been fully committed to support civil society entities that offer programmes serving the Bahrainis and promoting the social welfare of the community. This contribution is part of the Bank’s role as a responsible corporate citizen who supports various civil societies needs by dedicating special funds of the Bank’s donations and contributions programme towards worthy causes annually.

On his part, Mr. Murad Ali Murad expressed his deep appreciation to the NBB Board of Directors chaired by Mr. Abdulla Ali Kanoo and Mr. Abdul Razak Abdulla Hassan Al Qassim, NBB CEO & Director, for the Bank’s supportive gesture. He added that the Bank’s contribution would help the Fund realizing its objective in developing HR awareness and culture. He also lauded the Bank’s commendable role in supporting civil society entities that are constantly working towards the betterment of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The audience was attended by Mr. Nasser Mohammed Nasser, Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Bank and Ms. Nada Abul, the Manager of HR Development Fund.
