NBB was recently  honoured by the Children and Mothers Welfare Society. . At a ceremony held in the presence of the Minister of Education, H.E Dr. Majid Al Noaimi and the President of the Children and Mothers Welfare Society, Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa, the society acknowledged the support of institutions and individuals to the cause.

On behalf of NBB, Mr. Nasser Mohammed Nasser (Board Secretary), received a commemorative gift from the President , Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa. The President thanked NBB for its generous contribution to the Society over the years and said that the Bank’s contribution went a long way in fulfilling the Society’s objectives. With the donation received from NBB, the Society was able to reach out to a larger number of the under privileged and help them.

Mr. Hameed Jaffar Faraj, Assistant Manager of Al Istiqlal Branch, and Mr. Mohammed Jaffar Yousuf, Sales Co-ordinator at Salmaniya Branch, were also presented with merit awards for their valuable support and contributions to the Society.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Abdul Razak A. Hassan Al Qassim (CEO of NBB) said " NBB has always emphasized on the need to contribute to the betterment of society in the Kingdom. We have always tried to contribute and help those organizations, which take an active interest in the upliftment of the less privileged sections of our community. I would like to thank the Children & Mother’s Welfare Society for their exemplary work in this field. We are humbled by their acknowledgement of our contribution. We are more committed than ever to supporting worthy causes in the Kingdom thereby helping in making a better nation.”
